We offer many activites at our resort for people of all ages and a chance to try them! Our canoe is available, free of charge, for use by our guests.

Life jackets are included in your rental. If you would like to rent our life jackets without renting our equipment, there is a $5.00 per day charge.

2 Person Pedal Boat Rental

Pedal boats - a fun and unique way to experience Moutain Lake. Can accommodate up to a maximum of 2 people.

15 FT Aluminium Boat Rental

Twin Lakes Trail Map

Wild Water Preserve

This trail treats visitors to the raw beauty of whitewater rapids, natural caves and exposed granite rock. The Gull River’s 800 m white water section is a popular destination for recreational kayaking and canoeing.

Trails & Hiking

Our resort backs on to the Twin Lakes Ski Trail Loop. The trail consists of two loops - 2 km and 3km. During the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons the trails are open for hiking. For more information regarding winter access please contact The Haliburton Highlands Nordic Trail & Ski Club Association.

Minden River Run/Walk

Minden River Walk & Run

Located in downtown Minden, this unique pathway follows the Gull River and loops with a connecting foot bridge that brings you back downtown or allows you access to the Minden Boardwalk to continue on to the Minden Cultural Centre or the Ball Diamonds. Try out the River Run by renting a tube to float down the lazy river!

Panorama Park

This elevated park overlooks the village of Minden and offers a beautiful setting for picnics and stunning fall colour viewing. The trees provide natural shade while the paved roadway allows for cars to easily park and enjoy the stunning sites.

Kawartha Dairy

For over 80 years, Kawartha Dairy has been proud to be a 100% Canadian-owned company, still operated by the same family that started it back in the beginning. The early 1960′s saw the company expand to Minden, where it opened a depot and its now famous dairy bar. Although the office and plant are in Bobcaygeon, to many cottagers and summer visitors the heart of Kawartha Dairy lies in Minden, where stopping for a cone is an essential part of summer.

Dream Acre Whitetails

Tour the farm and feed the white-tailed deer. Visit the buck and doe pen and learn all about these gentle animals. Get up close and personal with the bucks, does and bottle-fed fawns. Breeding years vary, so please inquire if they have fawns. Farm tours last about 45 minutes.
